Referring to regulation KEPMEN KOMDIGI No. 13 year 2025, it is stated that any profile changes to existing recognized foreign testing labs must be notified to the Ministry. Impact on DJID certification in Indonesia

The revision of these four foreign testing labs has no significant impact on the DJID certification process. However, the revised testing lab addresses may require some adjustments for newly issued test reports. The authority may still accept the old test reports issued before the implementation of KEPMEN KOMDIGI No. 43 year 2026 as long as the testing location addresses were recognized in KEPMEN KOMDIGI No. 13 year 2025.

Please also note that the issuance of KEPMEN KOMDIGI No. 43 year 2026 does not change the number of recognized foreign testing labs for DJID certification. The issuance of KEPMEN KOMDIGI No. 43 year 2026 only amends KEPMEN KOMDIGI No. 13 year 2025 regarding the testing lab addresses and the organizational structure. Furthermore, the testing scope of the amended regulation of KEPMEN KOMDIGI No. 43 year 2026 remains limited to RF, EMC, and Electrical Safety. The SAR and Laser Safety requirements still must be met by conducting tests in local Indonesian labs.

It is important for applicants and manufacturers to stay updated with any changes in recognition of foreign testing labs, especially regarding the plan of enforcing full local testing for DJID certification starting from 2027.
